The new hybrid Suliko 777 was accepted to the Register

Many farmers were waiting for a sunflower hybrid that would be resistant to the maximum dose of tribenuron-methyl and also combine drought resistance and productivity. The LIST Company received such a request from many agricultural producers several years ago, and finally, our breeding work gave the results. The hybrid performed well in test fields in different regions, and resistance to Granstar or other sulfonylurea-based herbicides is confirmed by laboratory tests.

The name of the hybrid is not accidental, the first two letters indicate resistance to sulfonylureas (SU technology), and three sevens in the name were added at the request of a very reputable company, which has a similar name of the sunflower hybrid. The breeding process goes on and soon the next hybrids will appear, with a set of economically valuable traits that the farmer needs.
